❓MYTH OR FACT ❓
👉 Eating late at night slows your metabolism.
🔥 MYTH 🔥
A hear from a lot of clients, that they worry about gaining weight because of eating late at night. Here’s the scoop: there’s actually very little evidence linking late-night eating with weight gain. That being said, if you regularly snack at night while you’re watching TV, it’s easy to eat more than you planned!
So if that’s you, make sure you watch WHAT you eat and decide on your PORTION size.
Plus, it’s a good idea to keep in mind that nighttime eating can interfere with your sleep. A bad night of sleep can lead to being less active the next day, as well as having an increased appetite – and that won’t help you reach your goals!
The winning strategy: tune into your body’s signals and do what helps it function at its best.
I always let my clients keep a food journal for a few days, to reflect their eating behavior. From there on we can then work on finding a diet that fits my clients‘ lifestyle and needs! 📝💼
